AI Total is proud to present a new bull in its line-up: 607HO00002 BALTAZAR. Note that the pedigree is different: Charley x Pepper x O-Cosmopolitan. BALTAZAR his dam DKR Pepper Birdee comes from the Sunnylodge Prelude Spottie family. Several members of this family scored very high in international indexes. It’s no surprise BALTAZAR does the same!

BALTAZAR scores high on the Dutch NVI with +338, as well as in Germany with +153 (RZG) and Spain +4610 (ICO). In Scandinavia BALTAZAR even reaches the top 4 of the NTM list with +35, also caused by impressive health traits.

All health traits are positive. Udder health is well with 2.59 Cell Score (SCS) and Productive Life is a high +6.0 (PL). Calving Ease is low with 6.8% (SCE) and Daughter Pregnancy Rate is a good +1.6 (DPR).

In modern breeding many farmers do not wish taller cows. BALTAZAR meets this wish. In the linear traits we also see interesting scores for udder and teat placement. However, teat length asks for attention.
